Another very contagious disease, parvovirus affects the intestinal tract in dogs. The symptoms are, decrease in appetite, severe diarrhea and depression. The symptoms will appear soon after contracting the disease and can kill the dog within 2 to 3 days.

 

The Common and Preventable Kennel Cough

Kennel cough can be prevented by the relevant vaccinations. It is a respiratory disease with signs of a canine cough, the symptoms will usually last between one and three weeks and can be easily treated.

 

The Fungal Disease Ringworm

Ringworm is a very common fungal which affects dogs, You can treat ringworm easily be giving specific medication for ringworm. When the skin becomes infected with the disease, it leads to hair loss and also scaling, so look out for these symptoms.

Some of the common symptoms would be, conjunctivitis, fever, inflammation of the kidneys, lethargy and blood clotting. The bacterial disease can also cause pneumonia, jaundice and inflammation of the intestines, in the more severe and chronic cases.

This is one of the most common types of disease and is usually present in various dog breeds. It is described as an abnormal development of structures of the visual system. A minor form of this disease can cause vision problems for the dog along with the possibility of the dog contracting cataract, whereas a stronger case can lead to blindness.
